We offer a variety of meal plans designed to meet your nutritional needs. With options suitable for common allergies or specific taste preferences, there’s something for everyone. Now you can easily order your meal pack or individual meal and customize it to fit your needs.

How It Works

New Menus Posted Weekly

We post new menus weekly every Wednesday, made up of meals created from fresh locally sourced foods.

Unlike other meal-prep or cook your own food services, we don’t believe you should have to eat the same things week after week. At Primal Gourmet, we makes each week's menu completely different and unique so you'll never get tired of eating the same options!

New weekly menus give you the chance to try new entrees designed from seasonal ingredients and expand your taste. Don’t worry if there’s something you don’t like, new weekly menus ensure there will be something new to try next week.

Meal Packs

Based off our our weekly menu - meal packs are packs of 3, 5, 6 or 7 fully prepared meals ready to heat and eat quickly. Get your meals for the week at a discount when you buy as a pack or subscribe and save an additional 10%.

Individual Meals

Buying an individual meal off our weekly menu gives you the option to choose the meal you want. Need to make a special request? No problem, we can accommodate that on a per meal basis.

Order By Sunday Night

Get your order in by Sunday at midnight and we’ll have it ready for you to pickup at a convenient location near you by Tuesday afternoon.

Our weekly menus are carefully planned around what’s currently in season and our meal pack variations ensure your meal pack meets your nutritional needs. Once the food is prepped and cooked, we begin proportioning amounts and packing individual meals - weighing out proteins and portioning according to nutritional guidelines. The nutritional facts and macros are printed on each of our meals and are available through MyFitnessPal.

Choose your preferred pickup location when you place your order online.

Between working long hours, transporting the kids, or two-a-day workouts, we know that picking up your meals from our headquarters can be a hassle. That’s why we’re making it easier on you by delivering to over 50 different pickup locations across Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina.

When you order your meals online, you can either choose to pick up your order from one of our stores or we’ll deliver to one of our partner locations by Tuesday afternoon. Whether it’s your gym or just a location near your home or work, choose what’s right for you.

Our Team

Greg H. Martin


Contact Greg

Greg has only worked in food service since he was old enough to have a job. He attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC where he earned an AAS in Baking and Pastry Arts.

Greg earned his first executive chef position at Forest Lake Club in Columbia, SC after working at many fine establishments in Charleston and Columbia. There he oversaw all the kitchen operations for three dining rooms as well as special events and weddings. After travelling and holding positions leading kitchens in Maryland and Florida, he then assumed the role of Food & Beverage Director at The Members Club at Woodcreek and WildeWood in NE Columbia. He then accepted the role of Director of Dietary Services at an upscale retirement community, which is where he found his love for nutrition and meal planning. Helping people live better through proper nutrition became a passion for him. With that in mind, he decided to open Primal Gourmet right here in his home town to provide his community with a place to buy freshly prepared healthy food options that are convenient for the modern lifestyle.

Greg currently resides in Cayce, SC with his fiance Misty and great dane Luna.

Russell Kerman

Russell pursued this business by first attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. He earned an AAS degree in Culinary Arts, and a Bachelors Degree in Food Service Management.

Russell Kerman earned his first executive chef position at Main Course Restaurant & Caterers in the Hudson Valley region of New York. There he oversaw all kitchen operations for a multi-million dollar operation executing weddings, political and corporate functions, and celebrity events. After moving back to his home state of Rhode Island, he accepted the corporate executive chef position for the Pinelli-Marra Restaurant Group, overseeing eight restaurants and developing their elite catering company. Moving on to Boston, he developed the first completely gluten free restaurant in New England. Then he moved on to become a specialty chef-to-chef marketing associate for Sysco Foodservice Corporation for their Boston location, eventually moving on to Charleston and then Columbia as Corporate Executive Chef. We are proud to now have him as our Executive Chef here at Primal Gourmet.

Russell currently resides in Chapin, SC with his wife Jennifer and daughter Sloane.

Travis Robbins-Murphy

Travis graduated from The University of South Carolina with a Bachelors in Media Arts. While working in foodservice during school he found his love for cooking and customer service.

He eventually worked his way up to Food and Beverage Manager at WildeWood Country Club and served in that capacity for many years. After becoming more interested in healthy eating, he joined the team at Primal Gourmet as General Manager of the Irmo store. He is always available to speak with customers and assist them in selecting the right meals!

Travis resides in Lugoff, SC with his wife Amanda and children Faith and Lochlan.

Easton Jackson

Easton is one of Primal Gourmet's earliest employees. She worked at several foodservice operations before becoming interested in working with a modern, healthy concept that aligns with how she prefers to eat.

Easton has been with the company ever since! She has an excellent customer service background and puts the needs of customers at Primal Gourmet first. She understands the importance of eating clean, whole foods and is able to answer any question someone may have about proper nutrition. She is also the driving force behind our social media presence and customer relations.

Easton currently resides in Gilbert, SC with her fiance Zac and many pets.

Local AF

We partner and work with local farms and vendors to ensure the highest quality and freshest ingredients. We know our farmers, butchers, and vendors on first name basis, so we always know what’s fresh and in season. Chef Greg Martin has spent years in the culinary industry and Columbia building a network of vendors we’re proud AF to work with.
